Panpatia Col Expedition


 Panpatia Col Trek Expedition Itinerary:


Day 01: HARIDWAR – JOSHIMATH (1900mt./254km./8hrs.)


Drive up to Joshimath through the confluence points of rivers namely, Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Karanpryag covering a total of around 254km. Relish scrumptious breakfast and lunch on the way to Joshimath and upon arrival at the destination. Overnight in Hotel.


Day 02: JOSHIMATH – BADRINATH – KAIRAO – BASE CAMP (3OOOmt./Drive 55 km./Trek 4 km./ 4 hrs.)


Today morning we drive to Barinath blessing at Badrinath Temple drive back to Khirao, and the trek some 30 minutes to reach our base camp for the trek. We may chose to visit the holy Shrine of Badrinath, offer prayers and then come back to our base camp as we have little less to do.Overnight in Tents .


Day 03: BASE CAMP – SHEPHERD CAMP.


Following the Khirowi Ganga upwards, a little alcove that offers views of splendid snowcapped peaks in the distance. we climb and climb to reach the campsite for the day. Overnight in Tents.


Day 04: SHEPHERD CAMP – SNOUT CAMP.


Start of your day by trekking through a combination rocky terrain which changes from flat to steep alternately, giving you enough time to get used to the topography. Surrounded by calmness of the valleys, the trek is a calming one, finally reaching Snouts Camp. Overnight in Tents.


Day 05: SNOUT CAMP – MORAINE CAMP (4300 mt.)


The trek for the day prepares you to combat challenges that might befall in the days ahead. Embark on a gradually rising steep incline surrounded by moraines, to reach at Moraine camp which rests at an altitude of 4,300m. Rest and gather your energies for the next day by getting a peaceful sleep at the campsite.


Day 06: Acclimatization Day in Moraine Camp.


Today, you will let the effects of the dramatically changing landscapes assimilate in you as you acclimatize yourself to the surroundings. Try out your snow boots that will accompany you on the way ahead.


Day 07: MORAINE CAMP – PARVATI COL BASE


Instigating on a trek to Parvati Col, you will be a lot closer to Panpatia Col than ever before. The day ends to bring with it a peaceful sleep in the tent at the base of Parvati Col. Overnight in Tents.


Day 08: PARVATI COL BASE – PANPATIA SNOWFIELD – CAMP I


A steep climb from our camp brings us to the edge of the terrace from where the only way up is through a steep gully encase in snow and rock. We see Chaukhamba in all its glory and, with some luck, may also be treated to a different view of the mesmerizing Nanda Devi. Our campsite is in the snowfield. For those willing to put up with a little more of the bracing cold, the night sky offers a grand view of stars.Overnight in Tents


Day 09: PANPATIA SNOWFIELD – CAMP – PANPATIA COL ( 5260 mt.) – SUJAL SAROVER(4750mt.)


Crossing through the snow plateau and after a steep climb uphill is the Panpatia Col towering at an altitude of 5,260m (approx.) Post a short exploration of the Col and Himalayan ranges descend to Sujal Sarovar which is located downhill (4,750m). The camp for the night is on the sides of Madhyamaheshwar, besides a small lake.Overnight in tents


Day 10: SUJAL SAROVER – MADMAHESHWAR.


A few metres above Sujal Sarovar is a small pass from where it is a steep descent through boulder zones to Kachni. It takes about 3-4 hrs from Kachni to get to Madhmaheshwar temple. We visit the temple and explore the area... Overnight stay in hotel 


Day 11: MADMAHESHWAR – RANSI – (Trek 12 km.)


As you begin the day, descend we walk lazily through the pine forests to reach the base of Madhyamaheshwar Ganga. Embark on the ultimate trek of this expedition to reach Ransi... Overnight in Hotel.



Day 12: RANSI - HARIDWAR


 Early morning we take a car & reach Haridwar..

Accommodation will be provided throughout the trip as mentioned in the itinerary on twin sharing basis     


Twin Share accommodation in tents with foam sleeping pads entire the trek.


Meals: As per itinerary, Tea /coffee, snacks & drinking boiled water during the trek. All meals would be vegetarian,the food would be a mix of Indian, Chinese & Local.


Entrance fees, Camping fees & Trekking Permit entire the trek.


All group climbing gear like ropes, anchors, slings etc. and individual climbing kit which would be hired - e.g. climbing boots, ice-axes, crampons and gaiters


Experienced local mountain guide, cook and assistants .


Porters: For carrying rations, trekking equipments, personal gear of the clients (one bag not weighing more than 05 kgs).
